TEHRAN – Mohsen Bakhtiar of Iran claimed a gold medal at the 12th Dubai 2022 Para Powerlifting World Cup on Friday.

He finished in first place by lifting 187kg in the Up to 59kg class.

El Salvador’s powerlifter finished in second place.

On Thursday, Rouhollah Rostami won a gold medal in the Men's Up to 80kg class.

Around 200 lifters from 36 nations are in action at the Dubai Club for People of Determination at the Fazza 12th Dubai 2022 Para Powerlifting World Cup.
